SERVICES
We look forward to meeting you

Consultations
Complimentary phone consultations to determine if you or your child would benefit from a comprehensive evaluation.
At the end of the consultation, we will provide you with specific recommendations tailored to your individual needs. These may include a referral to another specialist or provider, as well as a recommendation for a comprehensive evaluation.
If you choose to move forward with an evaluation, we will work with you to schedule an appointment that is convenient for you.
Evaluations
A speech and language evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of an individual's ability to understand and use language to communicate. The evaluation includes a review of the medical history, as well as informal observations and formal standardized testing.
If treatment is recommended following an evaluation, an individualized plan will be presented based on the results of the assessment. Clients, families and caregivers will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss treatment planning during their first treatment visit.
Following the evaluation, we review our findings, along with a plan of care for future visits if additional treatment is recommended. We will present and discuss the results of the evaluation with you during your first treatment visit and answer any questions you may have.
Treatments
Treatment plans are dependent on testing, readiness, and the specific needs of clients and their families. Therapists use the information gathered from the evaluation process to develop specific, measurable and attainable goals. Plans are updated and modified as treatment progresses. Recommendations of frequency and length of sessions will vary between each individual client.

Therapists will share feedback and suggestions with family members periodically to support the generalization and maintenance of skills that are focused on in direct therapy sessions.
Bilingual Therapy
We offer bilingual speech and language therapy in Russian. A thorough language assessment will be administered to determine the presence of a language difference or language delay. Important considerations are taken into account when administering bilingual evaluations. Client values, needs, and culturally-linguistic backgrounds are acknowledged and integrated into the assessment and treatment process.
Children and adults who are learning English as a second language will be provided with strategies to enrich their speech and language development as they relate to daily living skills and allow them to successfully thrive in their environment.
